Wedding: Kile and McIntosh

Jacy Kile and Brian McIntosh were married July 25, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in Madison. The Revs. Gene McIntosh and Laura Burnett officiated at the evening ceremony.
The maid of honor was Abby Kile, sister of the bride. The best man was Steve McIntosh, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendants were Kristi Snyderman, Jenny Palermo, Heather Hamilton, Lacey Ballard, Kristie Haskell and Renissa Riley. The groomsmen were Michael Massey, Brad Burkdoll, Chris Kirkpatrick, Jory Collins, Joe Haynes and Lincoln Haynes.The flower girls were Olivia Harrison and Camrea Riley; the ring bearers were Ben and Jake Snyderman. Collin Kile, brother of the bride, was the scripture reader. Candlelighters were Katarina and Tyler McIntosh, sister and brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Austin Klumpe, Josh Koch, T J O’Neill and Derek Wise. Molly Ballaard and Julie McKenzie were the wedding musicians. Kiele and Sarah Harrison were guestbook attendants.
The wedding reception was at the Madison Golf Club.
The couple honeymooned in Nantucket, Mass., and live in Shawnee.
The bride graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kansas State University and Baker University with a master’s degree in education. She is a teacher in Basehor.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and is completing a master’s degree in administration from ESU. He is a teacher and basketball coach at Shawnee Mission Northwest in Shawnee.

Wedding: Speer and Penner

Casey Speer and Blake Penner were married July 25, 2009, at the First Congregational Church. The Rev. Andrew McHenry officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Josie Witten. The best man was Luke Penner, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendants were Brooke Andrus, sister of the bridegroom, and Katie Bess. The groomsmen were Chase Speer, brother of the bride, and Steve Kennedy. The flower girls were Maddie and Sydney Speer; the ring bearer was Christen Speer. Candlelighters were October Penner and Heather Hedrick. Ushers were Jaron Eilert, Mike Bess, Chad Peachy and Grant Phares. The wedding musicians were Cheryl Doty, vocalist; and Shane Galentine, pianist. The guestbook attendant was Kayla Eilert.
The wedding reception was at the Granada Theatre. The gift attendant was Jennifer Hart. Servers were Vanessa Rogers, Sarah Wendling, Eva Parkin and Levi Parkin. The rehearsal dinner was at the Emporia Country Club.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cozumel, Mexico, and live in Manhattan.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School and will graduate in May 2010 from Kansas State University with a degree in secondary education.
The bridegroom graduated from Derby High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree. He works for Security Systems in Junction City.
She is the daughter of Charles P. and Amy Speer of Emporia.
He is the son of Wesley and Linda Penner of Derby.
Grandparents are Ron and Carol Swint and Charlie Speer of Emporia, Paula Speer of Frisco, Texas, and Gib and Wilma Schwemmer and Wesley and Shirley Penner of Wichita.

Wedding: Heinen and Edwards

Hallee Jo Heinen and Bradley Edwards were married July 11, 2009, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence. The Rev. Bob Hasenkamp officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Angie Heinen. The best man was Blake Edwards.
The wedding reception was at Abe and Jake’s Landing in Lawrence.
The bride graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications. She works in public relations at Rainbow Communications.
The bridegroom graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is a financial advisor at Edward Jones.
She is the daughter of Dan and Marietta Heinen of Valley Falls. She is the granddaughter of the late George and Clara Meerian and Tony and Dorothy Heinen.
He is the son of Paul and Cyndi Edwards-Dorathy of Baldwin City and the late Bob Edwards of Hartford. He is the grandson of Wanda Edwards-Talkington of Emporia and the late Buck Edwards of Hartford, the late Lee and Ann Richmond and the stepgrandson of Gerry and Mary Jo Dorathy of Neosho Rapids.

Wedding: Richard and Mackey

Melissa Dawn Richard and Jarrett Evan Mackey were married Aug. 1, 2009, at the Church of Ascension in Overland Park. The Rev. Matthew Shiffelbein officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The matron of honor was Elizabeth Belt, sister of the bride. The best man was Jonathan Mackey, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendants were Angie Richard, sister of the bride, Renee Sampsel, Hillary Barlow, Janelle Laube and Lisa Mackey. The groomsmen were Matt Taylor, Paul Warner, Mark White, Aaron Boltz, Derrick Christenson and Jason Parks. The flower girls were Ava Weakley and Hailey Mackey; the ring bearer was Liam Belt. Ushers were Josh Belt and Bobby Hale. The bride’s personal attendant and guestbook attendant was Traci Rothfelder. The cantor and soloist was Lynnette Rempel. The organist was Jennifer Konzem. Readers were Jolene Gasche and Mike Beary.
The wedding reception was at the Lenexa Conference Center.
The couple live in Overland Park.
The bride works at First BioMedical in Olathe. The bridegroom works at Sprint in Overland Park.
She is the daughter of Jack and Cindy Richard of Olpe. She is the granddaughter of Helen Richard of Olpe and the late Paul Richard Jr., and the late Dan and Elizabeth Gasche. He is the son of Ted and Janet Mackey of Overland Park. He is the grandson of Burdene Mackey of Kansas City, Kan.

Wedding: Pracht and Wellnitz

Brenda Pracht and Kyle Wellnitz were married June 6, 2009, at Council Grove. The Rev. Norbert Tegtmeier officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Kiley Askins. The best men were John Askins and Joshua Mathis. The bride’s other attendant was Ryan Pracht. The flower girls were Camdyn Askins and Ryenn Cooper; the ring bearer was Cullum Askins. Ushers were Erik Pracht and Lane Wellnitz. The reader was Kristy Parry. Guestbook attendants were Samantha Grother and Jessica Spears.
The wedding reception was at the Morris County Fairgrounds in Council Grove. The rehearsal dinner was at the Council Grove home of the bride’s parents.
The couple live in Wichita.
The bride graduated with a degree in pharmacy and works at Dillon’s Marketplace in Wichita.
The bridegroom graduated with a degree in agribusiness and works at Wolfe Electric in Wichita.
She is the daughter of Randy and Tammy Pracht of Council Grove. She is the granddaughter of Don and Barbara Heller of Herington.
He is the son of Karen and Don Scheer of Emporia and Robert and Beth Wellnitz of Neosho Rapids. He is the grandson of George and Dorothy Wellnitz of Neosho Rapids and Ken and Shirley Thomas of Hartford.
