Wedding: Harlan and Bozarth
Casey Joan Harlan and Andrew Bozarth were married July 11, 2009, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic, Iowa. The Rev. Dan Siepker officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maids of honor were Crystal Honores, sister of the bride, and Chrissy Heene. The best man was Chris Bozarth, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendants were Emilee Harlan, Nicole Wagner, Lacey Wagner, Megan Breen, Shannon Schlueter and Scarlett Schmitt. The groomsmen were Jesse Harlan, brother of the bride, John McGrath, Jason Bueker, Justin Campbell and Brent Slone. Ushers were Joe D’Angelo and Shannon Crall.
The flower girls were Rylee Harlan, honorary flower girl, and Juliana Casey and Marlen Scow. The ring bearer was Kayden Wagner. Lectors were Peggy Harper and Janny Crotty. Musicians and vocalists were Elsa Casey, Kathy Graeve, Pat Casey, Linnea Casey and Kristin Zimmerman.
The wedding reception, dinner and dance were held at the Cass County Community Building. Reception hosts were Charles and Peggy Harper and David and Susan Coburn. Hosts for the wedding rehearsal dinner at the Main Street Grill were the bridegroom’s parents. A brunch was given at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Ireland and live in Springfield, Mo.
The bride and bridegroom graduated from Northwest Missouri State University. She is the financial assistant coordinator for Bryan College in Springfield, Mo. He is an account executive with the ABC affiliate station, KSPR.
She is the daughter of former Emporians Rick and Mary Harlan of Atlantic, Iowa. She is the granddaughter of Keith and Joan Harlan of Atlantic and Frank Casey of Griswold and the late Kathryn Casey.
He is the son of Jeff and Sheryl Bozarth of Springfield, Mo. He is the grandson of Barbara Mount of Kansas City, Mo., and Richard Bozarth of Springfield, Mo., and the late Joan Bozarth.
Wedding: Jenkins and Dooley
Kelly Jenkins and Ryan Dooley were married Aug. 29, 2009, at the Visitation Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. The Rev. Pat Rush officiated at the evening ceremony.
The maid of honor was Allison Anderson. The best man was Garin Nolan. The bride’s other attendants were Christin Black, Hilary Laird, Anne Emig, Pam Putnam and Meghan Sterling. The groomsmen were Cody Dooley, Dan Schuckenbrock, Andrew Werring and Austin Jenkins. The flower girl was Lily Jenkins; the ring bearers were Conner Jenkins and Carson Jenkins. Ushers were Matt Wohlgemuth, John Jenkins Jr., Mark Jenkins, Rodney Jenkins and Nick Moore.
Readers were Ashley Wohlgemuth, Anna Jenkins and Spencer Nolan. The guestbook attendants were Jarrod Guth and Brendon Asher. Wedding musicians were David Ekerdt, George Hans and the Festivo Strings. Other attendants were Mandy Herrman and Melissa Navinskey.
The wedding reception was at The Terrace on Grand in Kansas City, Mo.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School, Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree, the University of Central Missouri with a master’s degree and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Kansas. She is a speech-language pathologist at Truman Medical Center.
The bridegroom graduated from Maur Hill Prep School and Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree. He is a commercial loan officer at Hillcrest Bank.
She is the daughter of Donald and Sandi Johnson of Muskogee, Okla., and John and Debbie Jenkins of Auburn. She is the granddaughter of Marjorie Jenkins of Auburn, Tom and Wilma Dooley of Atchison and Ed and Joan Navinskey of Cummings.
He is the son of Cindy Dooley of Atchison and Michael and Michele Dooley of Terrell, N.C.
