Sports scores

My rec-league team is having a great season. Will The Gazette write a story on us?

The Gazette encourages coaches to submit scores and information from all levels of competition — from rec league on up. Coaches are asked to fax competition results to The Gazette at (620) 342-8108. This can be as simple as copying the scorebook from a game and faxing the pages. Please provide correct spellings of all players' names (both first and last).

We also know that many spectators take their cameras to games. You're welcome to submit team and game photos for consideration for use. Please provide us with the names of all identifiable people in the photos. If you have questions, call the sports department at (620) 342-4805 or e-mail sports@emporiagazette.com.
