The final postseason honors are in, and Emporia High’s Jessica Decker and Jordan Sosa were the most decorated from the Lady Spartans’ soccer team.
Decker earned first-team All-League, All-Region, All-State and All-Academic honors. Sosa, meanwhile, took first-team All-League, All-Region and All-State distinctions.
Senior Brittany Meza added a second-team All-Region honor to go with her distinguished status on the All-Academic team, while Melanie Nuessen took honorable mention All-Region distinction.
Other All-Academic team honorees were: Kylie White (first team), Jennifer Knickerbocker (first team) and Chelsea Pearson (outstanding All-Academic team).
Only seniors were eligible to be on the All-Academic teams.
