The City of Hartford meets at 7p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.
The agenda includes reports from mayor and committees: Roy Black, city hall roof estimates and Dan Fegan, maintenance supervisor, water and sewer report, presentation of claims and warrants by city clerk Donna J. Kuhn and financial statement by treasurer Bernice Fegan; Bruce Boettcher of BG Consultants, updates on water system improvement project and new water tower project, results from council work session on dog ordinances; appointments for the year: city clerk, city treasurer, attorney, official newspaper; April 7, 2009, official election results and oath of office for council position 2 and council position 4, Lisa Mautz of TrustPoint Insurance will review the city’s commercial property insurance policy, Kuhn will present the updated increase to the city’s crime policy with Flint Hills Insurance, proclamation by mayor and council to declare April 2009 as Fair Housing Month in the City of Hartford; citizens presentations; miscellaneous; copies of schedule of events calendar for mayor and council members wanting to attend the seventh annual Mayors Conference May 8 & 9, 2009, in Topeka, which provides training for newly elected and experienced city officials.
