ESU moves up 2 spots in volleyball poll

The Emporia State volleyball team climbed to No. 7 in the AVCA Top 25 after defeating two teams in the top 20 last week.
The Hornets remain behind No. 6 Central Missouri and just ahead of Washburn at No. 9. Truman fell to No. 19, Nebraska-Omaha remained at No. 20, and Pittsburg State climbed to No. 22.
The MIAA continues to be the only conference with six teams in the poll and the only one with three teams in the top 10.
ESU will face No. 22 Pittsburg State this Friday at 7 p.m. at White Auditorium.
