Indebted
On behalf of Hi-Noon Kiwanis Club, I would like to thank all of those who supported us in our recent fundraiser: Real Men Can Cook. To all of our local media, for the press releases and all of the spot announcements.
We also thank our corporate sponsors, for without you, we could not have gone forward. Thanks to those who furnished door prize merchandise; it kept the evening lively. Thanks to all of the “gourmet diners” who enjoyed some darn good food. Most importantly, thanks to all of our cooks for providing a variety of tasty dishes, along with their recipes. I hope that all of you had fun in preparation and serving, as well as the camaraderie being enjoyed by all.
We are truly indebted to Flint Hills Tech for their support and provisions; they certainly are a great group of people with which to work (the teriyaki chicken was delicious). I hope all of our cooks will join with us next year and that any others that have an interest will contact a member of our club. Remember that all monies raised for this event stay in our community and are to be directed toward children and youth activities.
