BREAKFAST
Monday: Pancake on a stick.
Tuesday: Little smokies and Texas toast, jelly.
Wednesday: In-service, no school.
Thursday: Breakfast burrito.
Friday: Biscuit and gravy.
Breakfasts are served with juice and milk. Cereal and graham cookies are available each day as breakfast alternatives.
LUNCH
Monday: Cheeseburger/bun, sweet potato fries, tossed salad, Mandarin orangges, Rice Krispy treat.
Tuesday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, peas, baby carrots/dip, strawberry/banana cup.
Wednesday: In-service, no school.
Thursday: Chicken nuggets, wheat dinner roll, cheesy potato, corn, tropical fruit.
Friday: BBQ ribette/bun, tri-tater, broccoli/cheese, cherry crisp, milk.
Lunches are served with milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Chicken supreme, rice, winter-mix vegetables, bread, pineapple.
Tuesday: Beef stroganoff, noodles, stewed tomatoes, wheat roll, fruit cobbler Dx.
Wednesday: Closed for Veterans Day.
Thursday: Cheese meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, beets, bread, blushing pears.
Friday: Cook’s choice.
Two percent milk is served with each meal.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Chili, crackers, cole slaw, pears, cookie
Tuesday: Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, peas, carrots, bread, apricots.
Wednesday: Chicken fried chicken, potatoes, gravy, spinach, hot roll, fruited cheese cake.
Thursday: Beef and noodles, stewed tomatoes, bread, fruit cocktail.
Friday: Potato soup, turkey sandwich, V-8 juice, crackers, cinnamon apples.
F Menus are provided by the senior meals programs and the Emporia school district.
