Americus Days will be all day Saturday with a variety of activities and will conclude with a community church service in the park on Sunday followed by a basket dinner.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the corner of Main and Walnut.
The wrap-up meeting for the committee will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday in The New Breck Cafe.
A date for the new time and temperature clock which will be installed on the east side of th KansasLand Bank will soon be announced. The Americus Days Committee has raised the money for the purchase of the clock.

A schedule of events would be nice!! Why is it already Thursday before Americus Days and nothing has been posted or printed yet? How disappointing.
