The service to celebrate the life of Brittie Jean Taliaferro will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Matfield Green Community Church in Matfield Green. Mrs. Taliaferro died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Windsor Place in Iola. She was 92.
The Rev. John Ratzlaff will conduct the service. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery at Severy. The family will meet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home. Friends also may call from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. Monday until service time.
