Gayzettesux you are right about equal rights. But asking how Sarah Palin can juggle motherhood and work is not equal. We have never asked a man how he can juggle fatherhood and a career. Why, because everyone assumes a great women is at home taking care of the house. Fortunatley for Gov. Palin, she has a great husband who is supporting her career.

I will first state that I do not agree with a compromise. We already post signs of smoking and non smoking establishments and it works. What else is there. The system in not broken and does not need fixing. Also, it has come to the attention that Teresa Walters has used Drug Awareness money (taxpayer money) to fund the Clean Air marketing campaign. Can we see the invoices and who paid for this. Because I do not want my tax dollar, not one cent, to go to this Clean Air.

What a beautiful building! I think it is a great idea. It is good to see that someone wants to have an appealing building. Too many store fronts look run down. It is nice to see someone taking pride in their building.

My son is an eigth grader and in football. Last year when I went to the games it took the other team about 10-15 minutes into the game before they knew he was blind!! I think his mom too is amazing. I have a hard time letting my child do things for I am afraid he is going to get hurt. And here she is, so brave to encourage her son and allow him to be a boy. We can learn from Charlie and his mom.

What I would like to see are beautiful store fronts instead of ugly colors. Go to El Dorado and look at their Wal-Mart. It looks good and you could be proud of it. I believe their Sutherlands has the same look. We should make sure when a store opens that it is appealing instead of cheap looking.

I do not like smoke and I am allergic. But I am all for the RIGHT TO CHOOSE. I like my freedom and do not want government to take that a way from me. DO NOT let the government control yet another aspect of our lives.

Thank Dr. Williams for recognizing John Mallon. I do not know him personally but have heard many good things about him. Another 'oversight' the people at the Granada have made is Dr. Joseph Rossillon. John Mallon hired him to create the strategic fund raising plan when he first bought the Granada. Dr. Rossillon told him what the fee would be for someone to come up with a fund raising plan and John Mallon could not afford it. Dr. Rossillon did it and charged him one dollar. Dr. Rossillon's name has never been recognized for this huge contribution to the Granada. Like John Mallon, he has a love for Emporia and wanted John to succeed.
