When and how will they learn? Do we know if these kids are troublemakers at school? Do we know if they had babysitters because their parents work at night? Do we know all the facts? Right now, all that matters is a car was stolen, a zoo was broken into and animals that hurt no one were killed. Not for food. Not for sport. Not for any logical reason, just blatantly slaughtered out of pure D meanness. Make sure they know the conquences for their actions

I am so sorry for the loss suffered by the Arndt family. The loss of someone so young and evidently so well loved is hard to understand. With lots of faith and prayers the family will get through this troubled time. They will never forget, but with God's help and the support of family they will have the strength to go on. I didn't know Beau, but I know some of his family and I know they will miss him terribly.
I have never hunted a day in my life and couldn't kill unless I was in fear of my life, however, aasimsaied's comments make me want to own a gun. Pompous comments like aasimsaied's are inappropriate at this time.

I don't live in Emporia. I abhor cigarette smoke. I don't frequent bars, but it sure is nice to go some place public and not go home smelling like what those people smell like. No one makes smokers who have had too much to drink or are just nasty do the stuff these people do. Erica should not blame the smoking ban, she should blame imbeciles who show no common courtesy. Most smokers, not all, but most have no idea how gross they are.
