It was almost touching to see Ashley squeeze out a tear for the workers printing the last hometown issue. Perhaps the story should have covered the fact that Chris and Ashley are responsible for running the company into the ground. Hey Chris, maybe you shouldn't have spent so much time and money printing "Go Emporia" and "La Voz" and those workers wouldn't be wondering how to feed their families. I just hope Willy White has enough room in his grave to turn over.

I'm not sure that sleeping with the firefighters will cause anything but scandal.

During this whole ordeal nobody has mentioned the fact that perhaps members of al qaeda are offended by being likened to Obama.

My guess is everybody that comments on this website has been dealt a raw deal at some point in their lives. I've got plenty of sob stories, but I didn't steal a car and torture animals over any of them.

Before moving to Emporia 3 years ago I had never heard of WAW and the rest of the world (beyond the city limits) hasn't either. It sounds to me like Colgate-Palmolive is going to end up doing more for this community than than anybody fighting for sign space.
