Looking ahead: Fog possible again tonight
Considering the cold and snowy start we had, this work week has ended on a perfect note. Expect another cool and calm night as temperatures fall into the middle and upper 30s. Skies will stay mostly clear, but we could see some more patchy dense fog form late tonight and early Saturday morning. The fog will quickly burn off as we move through the morning hours with skies turning mostly sunny by midday. Calm winds for the first half of the day will become light and southerly as we enter the afternoon. This light south wind will allow temperatures to rise into the upper 50s with sunshine dominating the sky. Get outdoors and take advantage of the near perfect weather.
We'll note some changes going into Sunday as cloud cover slowly increases ahead of our next rain chance. That will come Sunday afternoon and into Monday. The disturbance that will trigger this chance will be rather weak, so we will only look for a few showers. It will be nothing like the storm we saw this past week.
